Budget
Split a bill clearly and fairly
Decide whether the group wants equal shares or separate orders before the bill arrives.
Agree on the method
Equal shares can be convenient, but they may not suit different orders. If preferences differ, ask the venue whether separate bills are possible before ordering. Keep optional purchases distinct when useful.
Check the total
Review the bill and whether service has already been included. Our calculator uses Thai baht and an optional tip chosen by you; it does not prescribe a local tipping rule or process a payment.
Round transparently
If rounding is necessary, explain the small difference and agree who covers it. Avoid collecting more than needed without telling the group. Do not post a bill showing another person’s payment details.
